Amalin Phukan is a student of Class X of Don Bosco High School, Baghchung, Jorhat, Assam, India. Amalin, who secured 3 rank in the annual board exams of class IX, is the son of Er. Anjan Kumar Phukan and Elee Phukan.
He has been quite active in the sports field and in the cultural stage as well. Amalin was the announcer in many shows in the year 2008-09. The Inter School Bihu Dance Competition, the Thematic Dance Competition, and the Teachers’ Day celebrations being worthy of mention. He is also a member of the school musical band. He has actively participated in various intra-school and inter-school competitions over the past years, bringing in couple of prizes and awards to the school. He is also a regular News-reader in the school assembly.
Recently, he brought glory to the school by attaining 14 rank in The State Level Jigyas Talent Search Examination. He also got 2 rank in the Quest Talent Hunt, 1 rank in The Guidance Talent Search Exam, in the year 2008, to mention a few.
